Final project

For my final year at ESA St-Luc, our project spanned the entire school year.

We were organized into groups of three and had from October to June to complete our project.

My project involved creating a VR game combined with a board game, designed to be played by two people. One person would wear the VR headset, while the other would interact with the physical board game elements.

The story behind the game unfolds as follows: A scientist dreams of creating a utopian world devoid of disease, death, and war. After years of research, he develops a prototype of this world and invites a friend to test it. Initially, everything appears to be going smoothly, but suddenly, the lights flicker, a bug surfaces, and the world is thrown into chaos. The VR player becomes trapped in the corrupted world, unable to escape.

The objective of the game is for the two players to work together to repair the world by navigating through 37 different rooms, fixing the issues caused by the bug. The game concludes when all the problems are resolved, allowing the VR player to exit the world.

In my role within the project, I focused on 3D modeling. I meticulously crafted all 37 pieces that are visible within the game. Additionally, I contributed to coding certain aspects of the VR game to enhance its functionality and immersion.
